Pretty in pastel
This season we are seeing the extreme of the colour palette - neon to pastel. Are you going to be rocking one or both of these trends?
I enjoy a bit of pastel like the next person but my one concern with this trend is pastel on the bottom half of the body. For the naturally slender and/or column-shaped lass, it might be ok; however, I am pear-shaped and to be honest, I do not see pastels working for me. I’ve seen a few stores with an array of pastel jeans and other bottoms, and they are on very slender mannequins that certainly don’t have booty!
I will work the pastels into my tops and also some of my accessories and footwear.
But I will be bucking the trend on the bottom half; it’s dark colours down there for me!
