You know that I love eyebrows and believe they are one of the defining features of anyone’s face. Here is another post about great brows and how you do really need to make sure that you’ve got the best set possible.
Beauty Heaven’s recent article on brows talks about brows and makes a very important point; there isn’t a one-size-fits-all approach to brows. They are very individual and you need to create a shape that suits your face.
That said, a couple of thoughts from me:
1) Excessively thin brows (unless, that’s the pair God gave you) are not a good look. If you tweeze or wax to excess, there is no amout of praying, wishing and willling that will get those babies to grow back. Save yourself years of regret and take a moderate approach to your brows. Knowing someone who took to the tweezers too heavily in their youth, all they want now is some solid brows.
2) Tweezers are your frenemy. That’s right, they seem like your friend but really they can do some serious damage and you won’t like them much after that. I’m not saying don’t tweeze your brows but do so with caution and only to remove strays. One wrong hair and your face can look wonky for a month!
3) Find a good brow waxer. These days so many salons specialise in brows so you should be able to find one in your area. Seriously, these people work wonders. I scoffed when I first went in and paid the then-hefty price, but I was converted the minute I walked out of the door.
4) Bold is beautiful! Embrace the full brow.
Happy brow shaping!
